Like I have said time and again, I am not all that good at being consistent with my writing. And it is mostly because of one thing. The internet. I can not write proficiently by hand therefore I must use a computer to write. I'll walk you through.
Me: I'm going to go write...umm....ice cream, I need ice cream first, and a drink. I can't write if I'm thirsty. And I need to fold laundry.
(an hour goes by)
Ok I am going to write.
(I sit down at the computer.)
I need to check a couple blogs out first. Oh my God that is crazy, wow. really, there's a video of it on youtube. Oh my goodness I have to read the comments about that one. oh man.
(an hour goes by)
I need ice cream. and a drink.
Because of my completely raging and out of control ADD and my un-healthy fascination with Kanye West's blog and you tube; I am almost unable to write at this point.
But I feel as though if I want to begin documenting my life more efficiently, today is where it must start.
It sucks when you give someone that you live with numerous lectures about just going for your dreams and doing what you say you want to do, Because you become very self conscience about putting things off and not following through with things you want to do.
I say all this because I am experiencing that very emotion right now. So, I write.
Today is Sunday which by far I would have to say is my favorite day. It is the day that makes Monday through Saturday all worth it.
I woke up 45 minute before I had to be at morning meeting so of course I snoozed. I then woke up about 15 minutes after the morning meeting started and swore to myself as I put on my shorts. Church went well and was actually quite Inspiring. Loading up the van and off to Gloria's for donuts and coffee.
Its was good to sit for a minute and it really was about one literal minute, but its was good. To drink a cup of coffee and get re energized for the rest of the day.
To the house.
Clean the house.
Set up for the first Journey leadership dinner.
People show up to the house to eat burgers and talk about the vision and plans of the Journey and brainstorm for the upcoming projects.
A good day but I'm beat tired and ready to rest up for the long day ahead of me tomorrow.
