Looks Good on Paper

I am learning persistence, perseverance, and endurance. I am learning what all these things mean. with the constant speed of life and the endless list of things to get done and move forward on I am learning balance.

There are things I have realized, such as: I do not like to write when anyone else in the house is awake. I attribute the lack of posting in the past weeks to this new found fact. I need to feel alone to write. Otherwise I am all too unfocused. With my new found habits I find myself in bed most nights before the house dies out.

Tonight however I force myself to stay up and write. (but to be honest I'm only staying up because my shorts are in the wash and need to be put in the dryer before I sleep.) Either way, I tell myself that I am being disciplined and forcing myself to stay up and maintain good habits.

I have been sitting at my keyboard racking my brain for twenty minutes searching for some good antidote, story, or proverb to tell you in this half ass blog post, but I have nothing. And the only thing that I can think of is how much I want to eat ice cream and watch a fight movie.
