Its been an amazing week, finished off with 113 people in attendance to our weekend services in total. which to you might not sound like a lot. But to myself and the rest of the journey staff, is a monumental occasion. They say in church planting that the battle to reach a hundred can be filed away under one of the hardest struggles in planting. For us it is a marker alongside a long road and only means more growth is on the way.
This week however has been monumental for me in other areas. My girl and I had our first kiss on this last Friday and on top of that I had my birthday yesterday. Life is looking awful full. Still there is always struggles and battles in our "daily," but I have had a changing of mind this last week that was reiterated by two amazing sermons preached by Adam and Michelle yesterday.(kudos).
This changing of mind has been the decision to be not only thankful but positive through out every day, in every situation. I feel that I used to be a more positive person and some where along the line I lost some of that. I'm in love with the idea again and it is an amazing feeling.
On that note. I am going to be thankful for my trip home and my family even though I don't want to leave my family here in Denver. I will use this time to get ahead all that I can; both in my studies and my daily disciplines (exercise and things).
I wish you all a happy holidays and I hope that you too find yourself having a changing of mind, and becoming more positive people.
